This Christmas, Spotsylvania Volunteer Fire Department is thankful for its community support and volunteers throughout this joyous season. The Santa Engine covered 492 miles of Spotsylvania County in 55 hours. This has been a great accomplishment which could not have been achieved without the dedication of our volunteers. Our volunteers have shown their dedication of service by always answering the call when someone needs assistance. This year, while responding to emergencies, our volunteers answered the call to bring Santa to as many residents and children of Spotsylvania County possible. We like to thank and recognize our volunteer’s dedication with bringing Santa to the community.
