Head on Collision Near Courtland High School

JUNE 15 - Around 11;30pm Units were dispatched to a possible head on collision on Smith Station Rd in the area Of Courtland High School. When units arrived they had two vehicles in the road way with heavy damage with one patient in the roadway. One patient was fully packaged and taken to Mary Washington Hospital. Chaos on Spotsylvania Roads

JUNE 14 - While units were on the fatal accident on Interstate 95 several other accidents came out in the Thornburg and Massaponax area. When units were clearing the Interstate call they were then put on another overturned vehicle in the Massaponax area which incidently happened to be two accidents which were approximately 1000 yards apart. Multiple Vehicle MVA Turns Fatal.

JUNE 14 - Interstate 95 was shut down around mid day Sunday June 13 when a car collided with a Roll back wrecker causing it to hit another vehicle sending them down a enbankment and catching fire.

Structure Fire Kaiser Drive

JUNE 13 - On Saturday June 12th units were dispatched to a possible structure fire at 2105 Kaiser Drive. The call was recieved at 12:16 at the dispatch center. Caller advised there was smoke coming from an upper level window. A neighbor was attempting to knock on the door but no one came to the door. Morning Commute Slowed Due to Accident

JUNE 09 - Morning travelers had to deal with a blocked Rt 1 south bound in the area of Interstate 95 off ramp early Tuesday June 9th when a Tractor Trailer loaded with sludge tipped on its side spilling its contents across the highway around 3:30 in the morning. The vehicles diesel tanks as well as engine oil and hydraulic fluid spilled large quantities on the road creating a havoc for the crews to clean up. ... (Full Story & Photos)

Early Morning Fire Destroys Home on Third Street

JUNE 01 - Just before 1:30am units were dispatched to a house fire on Third Street. When the first unit arrived on the scene they advised they had heavy fire and they would be beginning a defensive attack. Units had to protect the next door residence which suffered melting siding and some charring on the windows and plywood. Memorial Weekend Comes with injuries at lake anna

MAY 23 - Units were dispatched for several injuries on memorial weekend. Mostly coming from Lake Anna. Crews from Spotsy Fire, Chancellor Fire/Rescue, Spotsy Rescue, and Spotsy County FREM worked together to handle these calls that occured throught the busy weekend... (Full Story & Photos)

Vehicle Fire On Lake Anna Parkway

MAY 23 - At approximately 11:00 am units were dispatched to a vehicle fire on Lake Anna Parkway in the area of Peaks Nursery. The vehicle was being towed when the driver front tire blew causing sparks igniteing the car. When units arrived on the scene they confirmed a vehicle fire and began to extinguish it units were on the scene for almost an hour extiguishing the blaze.... (Full Story & Photos)
