3 Injured In Jet Ski Accident
AUGUST 25
- Tuesday, August 24th, 2010 Partlow, Virginia, Engine Company 3 responded to a reported Jet Ski accident with injuries. Engine 3 and Trauma 2-1 responded for initial assignment. Brush 3 was added for extra support. Rescue 9-1 was added when 3 patients were found. Command was established by Sgt. Berry. Commercial Alarm Sounding Turns Out to be Working Fire

- On August 22, 2010 around 7:30 in the morning Engine Companies 8 and 1 were dispatched to an alarm at Tallant Industries. Upon arriving on the scene dispatch advised units they were responding to a waterflow alarm. - On Saturday June 19, 2010 at 12:12am call was dispatched for an O B emergency in Lancaster Gate Subdivision. With all ambulances committed to other calls the closes ambulance was coming from the Route 3 corridor. The patient was well into labor. Entrapment on Massaponax Church Rd.

- At 04:40 units were dispatched for a vehicle into a tree in the area Cedar Forest Elementary School (Massaponax Church Rd). Engine 8 was the first to arrive at 04:50 taking "Massaponax Church Rd Command" and confirmed dispatch information. Command then advised there were 2 occupants entrapped in the vehicle. Tower 1 Brings Back 1st Place Aerial from Colonial Beach

- The crew from "The Big House" spent a long hard week cleaning and polishing Tower 1 getting it ready for Colonial Beach's parade. In the end it was worth the long hours and sweat as we brought home 1st Place Aerial in a hard competition with many other ladder trucks. Minor MVA Turns Out To Be Major On Rt 1

- On Sunday June 6th 2010 units were dispatched to what sounded to be a routine MVA at the intersection of Jefferson Davis Highway and Massaponax Church Road. When units arrived on the scene they reported two vehicles off the roadway in front of E.F. Thompson trucking company.
