Overturned Vehicle In Front Of Pick A Part

On Sunday morning units were dispatched to a reported overturned vehicle with possible entrapment in the area of Part A Part. When the first unit arrived onscene they reported 1 vehicle off the road way down an embankment with obvious signs of rollover. Crews Have Hands Full With Huge 100 acre Brush Fire

Saturday afternoon crews were dispatched to a major brush fire that engulfed 100 acres of land in Spotsylvania and Caroline Counties. Around 2:50 early Saturday morning April 12th units were dispatched to an over turned vehicle on southbound Rt 1 in the area of Manor Mart Flea Market. Around 6:30pm on Saturday March 29th units were dispatched to a tractor trailer fire on Lake Anna Parkway. First reports were a tractor trailer loaded with lumber near Camptown road was on fire. On Friday March 28th, units were dispatched to a residential structure fire in the 5500 block of Cedar Ridge Dr. First reports were of an outside fire complaint due to a language barrier with the caller. Buffalo Wild Wings Fundraising Event

On January 20 - 23 of this year, Buffalo Wild Wings of Southpoint held a fundraising event for Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office and Spotsylvania Volunteer Fire Dept. January 20 and 21 were two days dedicated to the Sheriff's Office, and January 22 and 23 were dedicated to Spotsylvania Vol Fire Dept. Dry Windy Conditions Make For Busy Day

Windy and dry conditions played key roles in 4 major brush fires through out the county. Nearly every unit in the county was committed to one of these major fires. The first came around 3:45pm as units were dispatched to a fire complaint near Cedar Forest Elementary School off of Massaponax Church Rd.
